About Us
At Nippersville, we believe every child is unique and has a voice to be heard.
A child who feels valued is more likely to have higher self-esteem, confidence and resilience. This positive foundation can empower them to explore their interests, pursue their goals, and ultimately achieve great things in life.
Loving support can be the key to unlocking a child’s unlimited potential.
Our Philosophy
Play based learning is the centres foundation for learning and with the use of the outdoor classroom, our dedicated educators support learning with intentional teaching techniques. Educators incorporate the children’s individual interests, likes, strengths, cultures and religions to produce inclusive learning environments that extend and build children’s cognitive, social, emotional, physical and language development.
Educators create environments where your child can feel safe, confident, happy and connected. Routines are created to allow for individual needs and wants, allowing time for exploring, discovery and imaginary play.
Our educators believe their role is to create positive bonds with children through kind, caring and nurturing relationships, building trust and confidence so that children grow into strong, resilient and competent adults.
We believe families are a child’s most important educator and we strive to build partnerships with families to develop open communication and opportunities for participation. The centre will work alongside families to create stimulating and creative learning spaces and to provide a welcoming environment for children, families and the wider community.
As educators we value one another’s contributions and reflect upon ourselves and practices and value the need for ongoing professional development. As professionals we are guided by the Early childhood Code of Ethics, National Quality framework and all Early education and care legislation.
We believe our philosophy guides the curriculum, our Educators, Management, Policies and Procedures of our service.
The centre follows the Early Learning Years Framework which focuses on children’s development, partnership with educators and children’s families. We believe children are competent, capable learners. Their interests, strengths and needs are integrated into a curriculum towards the principles, practices and outcomes of the Early Learning Years Framework
